PPSU/Endoscope Probe Handle

China Array manufacturers endoscope probe handles that feature ergonomic design for ease of manipulation, multiple interconnecting components, chemical resistance and attractive aesthetics .

Flexible endoscopy is a minimally invasive diagnostic medical procedure used to examine the interior surfaces of an organ or tissue. The endoscope consists of a long, thin, flexible tube with fiber optics providing a light source to allow the inside of the patient’s organ to be seen on a video camera.

The endoscope tube is manipulated by the handle, which requires ergonomics, intricate geometry and precision dimensions. The handle must also be capable of enduring repeated sterilizations without deterioration.

China Array’s high performance polymer handles help fill the growing need for safe, efficient, and cost-effective flexible endoscopy.

Precise Dimensions and matching finishes: multiple interlocking components require precise dimensions for form, fit and function. Each component must have matching surface finishes for aesthetic appearance.

Ergonomic design: the endoscope probe is manipulated by controls on the handle. Note the curved, streamlined design and location of control buttons and bar.

Sterilizable: one of the features of this particular endoscope is a discardable sheath, which does not require sterilization after each use the handle will be sterilized multiple times over its useful life and requires a material that can withstand the rigors of repeated autoclaving.

Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) withstands over 1,000 cycles of steam sterilization without any significant loss of properties.
